I've been calling my grandson, grandson.1. But now there's another, so I've been thinking about nomenclature.
Perhaps grandson.1 should be called daughter.1.son.1, and the new arrival should be daughter.1.son.2?
Naming conventions are important.
Or... you could just call them Bill and Ben !ReplyDelete
That doesn't scale.ReplyDelete
You are not considering the possibility of more than one partner. Perhaps [daughter.1_partner.1].son.1 ?ReplyDelete
No need for the partner. Every baby has a mother, and you know who the mother is. The father is only a matter of conjecture. A unique naming scheme doesn't need to reference the father.ReplyDelete
